Image Backgrounds Should Default to position 50% 50%

Can we default background images to be centered instead of the current default of 0% 0%?

    We went with 0% 0% as it is the default value for background-position. Does WordPress or other tools default to 50% 50%?

      Yeah, the default in most WP builders is background-position: center. I understand the true defaults are 0% 0% which makes sense for background patterns but background imagery is used far more often than patterns and people are typically going to center imagery.
